Great info, I found the text needed some editing for the Exchange Management Shell. I used the following text and it worked perfect!
Get-ReceiveConnector “scanner“| Add-ADPermission -User“NTAUTHORITY\ANONYMOUS LOGON”-ExtendedRights “ms-Exch-SMTP-Accept-Any-Recipient”

Hunter;

The Technet migration article (<a href="http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=52b7ea63-78af-4a96-811e-284f5c1de13b&displaylang=en" rel="nofollow">here</a>) walks you through the Exchange step around page 40. Also; if your new server has a different public IP address, then you need to make sure the MX records point to it, and/or if the firewall is doing port forwarding for SMTP traffic, you need to make sure it is delivering traffic to the new server IP address.

Hi,

I'm currently migrating a server 2003 server with exchange to sbs 2008. I'm having trouble removing the old 2003 server after migrating the mailboxes to the 2008 sbs server as all the mail still seems to be routing through the 2003 box still.

Do you have any guide or blog that can help me please?

Thansk,
Hunter

Over the past few years, I've seen more ProLaw firms moving to virtualize their servers, but the Exchange Agent can certainly be tricky to implement and troubleshoot. ProLaw support can be helpful in that regard, but many of my ProLaw clients have had problems getting timely support from Thomson-Elite. Fortunately, it's possible to find a ProLaw consultant who can assist with these kinds of issues more quickly.
